Revocation of Citizenship

1. Grounds for Revocation

1. Obtaining citizenship through fraud, misrepresentation, or concealment of facts.
2. Engaging in illegal activities with an enemy during wartime.
3. Conviction of a crime with a sentence of 3+ years within 5 years of registration.
4. Conviction of treason or a crime punishable by 7+ years imprisonment after registration.

2. Revocation Process

1. A written notice is provided to the person, stating reasons for revocation.
2. The person has an opportunity to defend their citizenship.
3. A final notice is issued 14 days after the initial notification.

3. The Appeals Process

1. The person can appeal to the High Court within 30 days of receiving the revocation notice.
2. Further appeals can be made to the Court of Appeal and Supreme Court.
3. Deportation is suspended until all appeal options are exhausted.

4. Consequences of Revocation
